Jordan & Lyndsey × UCI Engagement Session

I can’t say enough good things about this blast and a half of an engagement session with Jordan and Lyndsey. We met up for drinks at Peet’s Coffee where I got to learn all about their love story, why they chose UCI as their engagement spot, and how wedding planning was going. Their charming personalities made me so eager to spend the next hour with them at this alma mater, and with every passing minute, my heart grew more fond of this dynamic pair. There was finding out Jordan and I were both tour guides in college, and I mentioned how helpful it is to have backwards-walking skills, especially in this job. I’ll never forget the random & subtle Dear Evan Hansen reference made that instantly lit my heart up. My favorite musical and an instant way into my heart. We must’ve been in a musical mood because The Lion King came up as well, and Jordan and Lyndsey gave me a really stellar rendition of “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” as we walked towards those epic trees you’ll see if you keep scrolling. We ended the shoot on this rad bridge, blasted Chance the Rapper as loud as possible from my phone and danced our hearts out.

I left feeling like my heart was barely able to contain all the joy from the kindred-spirit moments we shared.

I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in January! It’s gonna come so soon!
